Margaret M. "Maggie" Jowitt

Margaret M. "Maggie" Jowitt , 94, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Five Star Residences of Noblesville.  She was born on February 5, 1927 to George and Carrie (Coldiron) Menefee in Vincennes, Indiana.

Maggie graduated from Lincoln High School in Vincennes and the IU School of Nursing.  She was a Nurse Manager for Community Hospital East.  Maggie was a member of 2nd Presbyterian Church, a Hamilton County Master Gardener, and a volunteer at Conner Prairie.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Jowitt and his wife Deb; daughter, Ellen Wright; and her granddaughters, Katherine Wright and Crystal Marr.

In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard H. Jowitt in 1975; sisters, Jane Laakman and Athalin Parmenter; daughter-in-law, Kim Jowitt; and her grandson, Ian Wright.

Private family services will be held.  Maggie will be laid to rest next to her husband in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
