Jill Ann Cripe

Jill Ann Cripe, 71, of Carmel, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 with Hospice in her daughter’s home. She was born on April 16, 1949 to Carl and Maxine "Mick" (Guntle) Leatherman in Huntington, Indiana.

Jill was a kindergarten teacher at Forest Dale Elementary School for over 20 years. She was a devoted teacher, enjoyed walking with her friends and beautiful summer days. Her life path was making a difference in the lives of each student. Jill loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Chad Cripe (Laura), Christy Cripe (Mike Millsaps), Courtney Cripe (Josh Robinson), and Connie Cripe; sister, Jan Sink (John); 12 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private services will be held. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. The Cripe family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Jill's care.
