Jeanette H. Roberts, 101, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Roberts, who died in 1988.  She is survived by her niece, Janet G. Reed and her nephew, Robert C. Graves.
 
Jeanette was a Carmel High School graduate who lived much of her life in Carmel, except for a brief stay in Tucson, AZ.  She was a longtime member of Carmel United Methodist Church, and was active on three church boards and choirs. She worked at Metropolitan Casualty Insurance Company for 7 years, then at Indiana Bell/Ameritech for 33 ½ years, where she retired.
Jeanette was very social and was involved in and enjoyed many things.  She was appointed Trustee on the Westfield Town Board in 1969, and was then elected President for a 4-year term back in 1973. Jeanette was active in the Carmel Business and Professional Women’s Club, Carmel Music Study Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Past Queen of Daughters of the Nile, and a member of Alpha Pi Omega Sorority. 

There will be a combined viewing/funeral on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, IN 46060. The viewing will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, and the Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, with a private graveside service to follow.
