Gene Elmon Atyeo

Gene Elmon Atyeo, 70, of Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at North Woods Village in Kokomo.  He was born on June 5, 1949 in Ewing, Virginia.

Gene worked in maintenance at Riverview Hospital and served as a foreman for Crown Point Cemetery.  He loved fishing and could always entertain a crowd.  Gene was an evangelist who never met a stranger and loved spreading the word of God through music.  He loved his grandchildren dearly.

Gene is survived by his son, Gene K. (Kristina) Atyeo; daughter, Tina (Donnie) Sawyer; grandchildren, Holli Atyeo, Gene Atyeo, Bella Atyeo, Owyn Atyeo, and Pierson Atyeo; and his brother, Fred Lawson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Roberta (Harris) Craft; wife, Bonnie Atyeo; and grandson, Jayden Atyeo.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Pastor Darrell Jones will officiate.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
