David and Jane met in Richland Center, WI and were married in 1970. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this coming September. They were blessed with a son, Jeff Nee (LeAnne) and a daughter, Betsy Baker (Jonathan). He loved his grandchildren, Isaac and Elliot Nee and Nathan, Brynn and Josh Baker. Together they have enjoyed so many family gatherings, holidays, and Indy 500s. David will be forever remembered for his beautiful white hair, his love for life, his big smile and the joy he brought to others. He was a great listener and a great friend. David loved playing tennis and helping at his church with the sound board, food pantry and mowing the lawn. He loved cheering on all his grandchildren at their sports or their hobbies. You could always count on David for a good joke, a great laugh and a great drink!
A Celebration of Life will be planned at Bethel Lutheran Church at a later date. David’s care has been entrusted to Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes.
