Betty Smith

Betty Lou Smith , 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her home.  She was born on February 11, 1930 to Macel and Violet (Bishop) Wolfe in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Betty was a homemaker and attended Noblesville Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her husband, Sterling Ray Smith; daughter, Vickie (Ed) Bennett; son, David (Kyle) Smith; sister, Anna Mae (Allen) Wallace; brother, Roy (Shirley) Wolfe; several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Noblesville Baptist Temple, 1338 Pleasant Street in Noblesville, with Pastor Seth Leeman officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the church.  Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
