William 'Bill' C. Holloway, 92, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. He was born on February 25, 1922 to Floyd and Ivy (Snyder) Holloway in Noblesville, Indiana.
Bill retired from Delco Remy after 41 years, and had also enjoyed being a farmer in the Hamilton and Madison county area. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a WWII veteran, receiving both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his service. He attended White River Christian Church in Noblesville and loved tending to the needs of others.
He is survived by daughter, Teresa (Richard) Kinder; sons, Richard (Darlene) Holloway and Jerry (Vickie) Holloway; brother & sister, Kenneth Holloway and Virginia Pickrell; half-sister, Christine Minch; grandchildren, Mandy (David) Boggs, Molly (Brent) Drummond, Darrell (Sharon) Holloway and Lucas & Joseph Kinder; great-grandchildren, Jacob & Tyler Drummond, Cheyenne Boggs and Austin, Andrew & Abigale Holloway.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Holloway in July 2011; brother, Lawrence Holloway; sister, Marguerite Morris; and daughter-in-law, Susan Holloway.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
