William Harold Blanton, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. He was born on April 11, 1943 to Willie and Lorean (Baker) Blanton in Red Bay, Alabama.
Bill worked for General Motors, and co-owned Authorized Video Store in Muncie with his brother in the 1980s. He was a former member of Industry United Methodist Church in Muncie where he served as head usher and PA operator. Bill was a current member of Fishers United Methodist Church. He was a Corvette enthusiast and loved being Papaw to his granddaughter.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Jamie) Follis; granddaughter, Katie Follis; and his nephew, Jay (Peggy) Blanton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anneattea LaJean Blanton; and his brother, J.B. Blanton.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Highland Cemetery, in Fishers, with Rev. Mark Ellcessor officiating.
The Blanton Family would like to give special thanks to the Prairie Lakes Health Campus, The Care Team Hospice, and especially Jordan Baldock, who helped Bill during his time at Prairie Lakes.
