Ward Scott Jolley, 59, of Fishers, passed away peacefully at home with his family beside him on Sunday, October 4, 2026. He was born on August 14, 1967 to Tom and Sandra (Reid) Jolley in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Scott was at the top of his field as a collector in Seattle and had a successful career as an insurance claims adjuster in Indiana. As a child, Scott overcame asthma and was able to play little league baseball and was an all-state wrestler in high school. Scott loved the water, boating, jet skis, and fishing. He was an adrenaline junkie who loved riding motorcycles.
Scott came to Christ early on in his life. Later on, he became a strong Christian and witness to others. Scott taught his friends and family to be brave, and he was always willing to help others. He was a positive influence on those he cared about, and brightened a lot of lives. Scott was always happy, and loved being a dad, granddad, and uncle.
He had many challenges in life, but always found a way to overcome and excel, and always kept an amazing, positive attitude while going through the tough times. Scott was always content/satisfied/grateful for the things in life he had. He adopted Dave Ramsey’s saying of “better than I deserve” when asked how he was doing.
Scott’s brother & sister will miss many phone calls with him, several times a week, helping each other get through their ailments one day at a time. He loved his daughter and grandkids more than anything in the world. In fact, they were his world. Scott was a huge help to his mother and family the last several years while dealing with his own challenges. He always had good sense of humor and made people laugh and at ease. We will miss Scott tremendously.
He is survived by his parents, Tom & Sandra Jolley; daughter, Samantha Jolley; brother, David Allen Jolley; sister, Donna Verna Kennedy and her husband Mike Kennedy; and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with services at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers.
