Vladimir Kent Drummond

It is with great sadness that the family of Vladimir Kent Drummond announces his passing on Monday, September 4, 2023. Kent was born in Makhariv, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine on December 15, 1996, at 3.2 kilograms and 85 centimeters long, to Tanya Bushilenko. He and his sister, Lena, were welcomed into the Drummond family by Dave and Twila (Montgomery) Drummond on December 31, 2003.

Kent graduated from Union Bible Academy in Westfield, Indiana in May of 2015. He joined the Marines in May of 2016 and was medically separated later that year. Kent loved spending time with his friends. He was considered a brother to many, often touching other’s lives around him. He always shared a ready laugh with a smile that lit up his face. From a young age, Kent was fascinated with cars, trucks and their accidents (to his parents’ horror! 😊 ) This fascination matured into careers he loved, working as a truck driver with GCI Slingers in Zionsville and later with Paddack's Wrecker & Heavy Transport. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Kent enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Buddy and Sarah, and his cats, Turbo and Snowball.

Kent leaves behind his Mama, Tanya (Bushilenko) Motunenko and brother, Dennis Motunenko of Sosnivka, Ukraine; his parents, Rev. Dave & Twila Drummond of Greenfield, Indiana; his loving girlfriend, Grace Stefaniak of Indianapolis; his siblings, Lena Drummond of Carmel, Indiana, David (Rachel) Drummond of Shelbyville, Indiana, Jonathan Andrew Drummond of Loogootee, Indiana, Dr. Bethany (Rev. Jason) Morford of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kirk (Amanda) Drummond of Middletown, Pennsylvania, Charity (Rev. Nathan) Purdy of Portadown, Northern Ireland, and Seth Drummond of Columbus, Ohio; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and many co-workers and friends.

A viewing will be held at Southport Church of the Nazarene, 920 E. Southport Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM, with funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Rev. John Zeigler will be officiating.

Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Randall and Roberts Funeral Home of Noblesville, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion County Indiana Humane Society (https://indyhumane.org); or Global Care Force Medical Missions to Ukraine (https://globalccareforce.managedmissions.com/MyTrip/twiladrummond).
