On December 21, 2023, Vicki Lea Lepper won her earthly battle and was accepted into Jesus' welcoming arms in heaven.

Vicki was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on May 27, 1960. She proudly served in the United States Air Force at Beale Air Force Base in California as a dental health administrator. Following her service, she moved to Denver, Colorado, where she began her career at CNA Insurance. Later, she transferred to Phoenix, Arizona, where she met her husband of nearly 33 years, Steve Lepper, at Christ Church Lutheran. After they married in January, Vicki and Steve moved to Fishers, Indiana, to grow their family. Quoting Vicki from Mother’s Day last year, "I love being your [Haley & Jacob] mom. It was the best gift from God."

Vicki demonstrated a strong work ethic throughout her life. She worked as a school cafeteria lunch lady for many years before finding a fulfilling career at Crown Point Graphics as an art licensor. One of her passions was getting to know artists and their works – there was never a moment she didn't look at the back of a greeting card to see the company or artist.

In addition to her dedication to work, Vicki had a wide range of interests and hobbies. She played in a bowling league for over two decades, winning the league's tournament with her team at least once! Vicki’s other passion was playing in the handbell choir at church which she did for nearly thirty years. She was also heavily involved in her local community, participating in a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) and Ladies in Fellowship Together (LIFT) at Cornerstone Lutheran Church. Vicki enjoyed outdoor activities like riding her bike on trails and throughout neighborhoods. She was a proud grandmother, lovingly known as "Oma," to four grandchildren.

Vicki is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Lepper; her loving parents, Dick & Karen Staffan; her dear sister, Diana White; and her cherished children and their spouses, Haley & Ian Mixer, and Jacob & Lexi Lepper. She leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Reagan Mixer, Hope Perry, and Matthew & Evelyn Lepper.

Vicki's celebration of life will be held at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 4850 E Main St, Carmel, IN 46033 on Thursday, December 28, with visitation from 9 am to 11 am, followed by the celebration of life service at 11 am. A luncheon will follow the service.
