Trudy Henricks, 77, of Arcadia, Indiana, passed away on the morning of Thursday May 28, 2026. She was born on November 18, 1948, in Noblesville, Indiana, Trudy was the daughter of Robert Wells and Phoebe Lipps. The oldest child to her five younger brothers. She graduated from Noblesville High School and later attended Ivy Tech, always taking pride in her education and strong work ethic.
Trudy was a devoted mother to her two sons, Jeffery Singleton (Janet) and Joshua Singleton, and wife to Dallas Henricks, whom she married in 1992. Together they shared many years of companionship and cherished memories.
Throughout her life, Trudy was known as a hardworking and caring person. She often spoke fondly of her years working at RCA. Later in life, she found fulfillment working as a caretaker and nanny, roles that perfectly reflected her nurturing and compassionate nature.
Above all else, Trudy’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life. Whether she was making memories with family, shopping, or relaxing on her porch swing, Trudy embraced life’s simple pleasures with the heart of her family at the center of it all.
Trudy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wells; her beloved son, Jeffery Singleton; her brothers, David Wells and Bob Wells; and her niece, Kari Broxson.
She leaves behind her husband, Dallas Henricks; her son, Joshua Singleton; her mother, Phoebe Lipps; her brothers, Tim Wells (Becky), Steve Wells (Karen) and Doug Wells; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Trudy’s kindness, strength, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and in the precious memories shared by those who loved her.
