Thomas A. Greiwe

Thomas A. Greiwe passed away on July 17, 2023, at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN, after a brave battle with cancer.

Tom was born on September 4, 1954, in Muncie, IN, to Paul and Thelma Greiwe. He graduated from Muncie Southside High School and Ball State University. After college, he had a career of over 40 years as a CPA and Chief Financial Officer. He also volunteered for several civic organizations and as a youth sports coach. Tom spent recent years enjoying as many rounds of golf as possible and joyfully supporting his grandchildren in all of their activities. 

Tom is survived by his partner, Beverly Purtlebaugh; son, Chad (Lisa) Greiwe; daughter, Amanda (Scott) Boruff; Beverly’s daughter, Michelle Huston; grandchildren, Morgan Greiwe, Luke Greiwe, Morgan Rees, Ethan Huston, Collin Huston, and Lacey Huston; siblings, Ronald (Danene) Greiwe, Marilyn Weaver, Rita Brocki, Jeanette Carnes, and Joan (Roy) Patterson; sister-in-law, Melanie Greiwe; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bella.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Thelma Greiwe; and brothers, Edward Greiwe and James Greiwe.

A private celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
