Thomas Brady Brown

Thomas Brady Brown, 53 of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at his home.  He was born on September 11, 1969 in Edina, Minnesota.

“Tom” held a finance degree from Indiana University and was active in the stock market, advising many friends.  He was very adventurous - his “heart” was in Alaska.  Much of his time was spent there until his health prevented it.  He worked in the canneries and on fishing boats, and finally his last position before returning to Indiana was as a tug boat captain.  His favorite hobby was fishing and he and a large group of friends were avid fans of the Grateful Dead.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas Frederick Brown and Mary Elizabeth (Nix) Brown (Betty); sister, Kelli Eleanor Conkin (Brown); brother, Patrick Ramsay Brown and nieces and a nephew, Ryan Conkin and Rachael and Elijah Brown.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with services at 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street, in Noblesville.

The Brown family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Thomas’ care.
