Sylvia Marie Hughes

Sylvia Marie Hughes, 78, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Copper Trace in Westfield.  She was born on September 5, 1945 to Joseph and Lottie (Maczuga) Pankowski in Chicago, Illinois.

Sylvia was a homemaker and a proud Chicagoan.  She was a huge hockey fan, especially for the Chicago Blackhawks.  Sylvia loved her grandchildren more than anything.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Tracy) Hughes; step-son, Larry (Lori) Hughes; step-daughter, Lorene Hughes; grandchildren, Elena Hughes, Erin Hughes, John Hughes, Colin Hughes, Kyle Hughes, and Naomi Hughes; and great-grandson, Lachlann.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hughes Sr.
