Shirley Fay Burnell

Shirley F. Burnell, 70, of Noblesville, went to her Heavenly home and to be with her husband whom she has missed for so long on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Riverview Health in Noblesville with family at her bedside.  She was born on October 16, 1952 to Clyde and Lois (Moore) Linville in Noblesville, Indiana.

Shirley never knew a stranger and could talk to you for hours.  You never left her house empty handed if she had anything to do with it.  Shirley's loves in this life were playing Bingo and online lottery, and you can bet she was there every time to buy her lottery tickets at the gas station when it was time no matter the jackpot.  She also was a homemaker who loved to bake for everyone and was known for her brownies.  Shirley loved her 7 schnauzers and 1 poodle, but most of all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her son, Bill (Marcus) Burnell-Wildridge; 4 brothers, Larry (Cathy) Linville, David (Elvira) Linville, Alvin (Mari Lou) Linville, and Don Linville; sister, Barbara (Ed) Lacharite; several nieces & nephews; her special daughter, Tonia Stapleton; and step-brothers, Rick Linville and Gary Linville.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Furman William Burnell; brothers, Paul Linville and Herbie Linville; step-brother, Lee Linville; and 3 sisters, Sandy F. Oliver, Betty Marchetti, and Dianne Linville.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
