Sherry L. Swanson

Sherry L. Swanson, 75, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Carmel Health & Living.  She was born on January 2, 1949 to Vernon and Marion (Deusser) Strawn in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Sherry was a graduate of Arlington High School in Indianapolis.  For 17 years she worked as a military pay specialist at Ft. Benjamin Harrison.  Sherry lived in Venice, Florida for 4 years working as a caregiver.  She belonged to the Noblesville Moose Lodge and loved music and dancing.  Sherry was a great cook who also enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.  Most of all, Sherry was a loving wife and mother. 

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Swanson; daughter, Mindy Swanson; and her beloved dog, Toby. 

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Brian Swanson.
