It is with deep sorrow and profound love that the family of Sharon Hunter announces her passing on June 12, 2026, just shy of her 55th birthday. Sharon was born on June 21, 1971, in the town of Mooresville, Indiana, and throughout her life, she embodied the warmth and kindness of her small-town roots.

Sharon was the daughter of the late David Edward and Sandra Lee Brown, whose loving memories she carried with her always. She faced the heart-wrenching loss of her parents and beloved son, Andrew, with remarkable resilience and grace, demonstrating a strength and optimism that inspired all who knew her.

Sharon leaves behind her devoted husband of 13 years, Donald Hunter, her son, Tyler Lazzell, and seven grandchildren.

A true homebody at heart, Sharon found joy in the warmth and comfort of her surroundings. Her hands were rarely idle, as she busied herself with sewing, needlework, and various crafting projects that showcased her creativity and meticulous attention to detail. Sharon had a green thumb and spent many peaceful hours tending to her garden. She also relished her escapes to tropical locales, where she marveled at the vibrant beauty of the world, always returning home with tales of her adventures.

Sharon's personality was a beacon of positivity and open-heartedness. Despite the challenges life presented, she maintained an unwavering belief in the goodness of people, always choosing to see the best in those around her. Her genuine compassion and ability to spread joy made her a beloved friend to many, and her legacy of love will continue to touch lives far and wide.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at IU Fishers Hospital for their compassionate care and support during Sharon's final days. Their kindness and dedication brought comfort and solace to Sharon and her loved ones in a time of need.

Sharon's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we celebrate her life, we hold her memory close, finding comfort in the love she gave so freely and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
