Scott Richard Roberts, 75, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1950 to the late Dick & Millie (Johns) Roberts in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Scott’s childhood was spent in Park Ridge, Illinois, and he was a graduate of Maine South High School and Drake University in Iowa. He was a medical salesman and proud of his work as he was a heart patient himself. Scott was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Masonic Lodge, going further in the York Rite, Scottish Rite, plus Shriners. He loved his country, attending the Fishers government, fire and police academies. In his spare time, Scott loved pheasant hunting, golf and sunsets.
Scott valued family and tradition. He became a father figure to his nephews which paved the way to being a perfect girl dad. Scott was welcoming and never shied away from an opportunity to give a hug. He truly cared about people while getting to know them and made a difference in their lives.
Scott is survived by his wife, Jeri Roberts; brother, Brian Roberts (wife, Shanna, deceased); sister, Pat (Jim) Bolsinger; daughter, Katelind (Drew) Malicki, and their children, Addisyn, Maya and Teagan; daughter, Kristin (Quinn) Derenthal, and their children, Olivia, Josephine, Elliot, and Thomas; as well as many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church, 10350 Glaser Way in Fishers, with Rev. Cole Daily officiating.
