Listen to Obituary

Scot A. Stallsmith, lovingly known as “Red” or “G-pa,” was a loving father, a proud grandpa, a cherished brother to his brothers and sister, the most fun uncle, and a devoted friend. Scot, 64, of Noblesville, passed away on October 9, 2026. He was born on November 20, 1961, in Hartford City, Indiana, to Orval and Judith (McClellan) Stallsmith.

His family meant the world to him, and few things brought him more joy than watching his grandchildren play sports. Whatever the game, G-pa was their biggest fan.

Red never met a stranger. From Indiana to Florida, he made friends everywhere along the way and always had a story to tell. Always the life of the party, he enjoyed every minute and brought laughter and fun wherever he went. He loved golfing, fishing, boating, racing, and sharing stories and laughter at the Elks, Eagles, and Moose. He loved sports of all kinds, but his heart always belonged to the Indiana Hoosiers.

A proud business owner with an unmatched work ethic, Scot put his heart into everything he did. He was always giving to his friends and family, generous with his time, his help, and his love. He was also the best BBQ and Seafare chef around, always happiest bringing everyone together over a meal.

Above all, Scot will be remembered for his love for his family, the friendships he adored, and the pride he took in being Dad and G-pa. His stories and the time shared with him will remain treasured memories. He will be deeply missed and forever loved, his family carrying his love and encouragement with them always.

He is survived by his daughters , Tia Vote (Andrew) and Savana Stallsmith; brothers, Les Stallsmith: JR Stallsmith (Kathy); Mike Stallsmith (Kelly); Mitch Stallsmith, sister Natalie McIntire (Mark);and his grandsons Oliver and Harrison Vote. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents.
