Samuel Clark Jerrell, 93, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born September 23, 1914 in Noblesville, Indiana to Nancy I. (Clark) and Clarence H. Jerrell.
Samuel worked for Diamond Chain Company of Indianapolis as a purchasing agent.
Samuel served in the Air Force during WWII. He was a lifetime member of First Christian Church in Noblesville and he was also a member of the Noblesville Elks and the Noblesville Masonic Lodge. He was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife Katherine Jerrell, son; Greg (& Joanne) Jerrell of San Diego, CA, daughter; Susan Jerrell of Tucson, AZ, grandchildren; David Jerrell, Jim Jerrell, Ian Jerrell, Andy Baker, and Katie Baker, and great-grandchildren; Jace Jerrell and Abigayle Jerrell.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother; James Jerrell.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2008 at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument Street in Noblesville,with Rev. Eric Brotheridge officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
