Roman Kotrys

Roman Kotrys, 89, of Carmel, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Independence Village of Carmel. He was born on August 14, 1937 in Michigan.

Roman worked as a security manager. He enjoyed collecting super hero and soldier figurines, coins, and knives. Roman loved keeping tropical fish and traveling with his wife, Marlene.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Wilson; and 6 grandchildren.

Roman was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Grimski; wife, Marlene Kotrys; and his sons, Roman Kotrys and Mark Kotrys.

Private family services will be held. Roman's care has been entrusted to Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes.
