Roland V. Dodd

Roland V. Dodd, 90, Fishers, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born July 21, 1919 in Fishers and was a graduate of Fishers High School.
Roland had served as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. He had retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Indianapolis. Roland had also farmed for many years in the Zionsville area. He was an avid car lover and enjoyed working in his yard. He truly enjoyed life and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Dodd of Fishers; one son, Roland Dodd, Jr. of Anderson; one brother, Kenneth Dodd of Fishers; and one grandson, Colton Dodd of Anderson.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary. Friends may call Friday, July 24, 4:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, with military rights being observed.
