Robert Halcomb III

Robert Wesley Halcomb III was born 10/02/81 and died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, 01/23/22, in the company of a recently befriended pit bull.  We see that as a sign of God’s mercy, as he was a great lover of dogs.  His struggles with addiction in this world are over, and we pray that he is in the presence of his father, his grandparents, and our Merciful God.  Often called Rob, he was a loner, but had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.  Robert was skilled in many areas including the building trades and auto mechanics.  He is survived by his mother, Lois Graves, his stepfather, Joseph Graves, his sister, Lesley Landis, and her husband, Jeremy Landis, his niece, Althea Landis, his stepsisters, Carrie Smith, Christy Graves, Joy Boyan, and their families, and many other members of his extended family who loved him deeply and mourn his loss.  There will be a private family funeral at Randall and Roberts in Fishers.  In lieu of flowers donations may be given in his name to the Hamilton County Humane Society.
