Robert 'Bob' J. Giddings
, 67, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 at home. He was born July 14, 1941 in Noblesville, to Cecil Edward Giddings Sr.and Ester M. (Lease) Giddings Johnson.
Bob retired after working in maintenance for Delco-Remy for 37 years. He was a member of the National Guard. He was an avid bowler, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by brother, Cecil (& Janet) Giddings of Noblesville; brother, Charles 'Chuck' (& Orebelle) Giddings of Arcadia; sisters, Rosemary (& Robert) Soulet of Slidell, LA, and Patricia 'Patty Ann' (& Harry) Vandiver of Elwood; granddaughter, Jessika Giddings; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Jermy Scott Giddings.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Jess Stone officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 14 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN; -or- the charity of the donor's choice.
