Richard Goering

Richard 'Dick' M Goering, 75, Fishers, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Indianapolis. He was born May 30, 1933 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Ernest and Garnet (Berrier) Goering.
Dick had worked for International Harvester for 12 years, and had retired in 1999 from Sloan Valve, where he had been a foreman. He was a graduate of Illinois State University, and served in the US Navy. He had taught and coached varsity sports in Argenta, IL, Manteno, IL, and Mt. Carroll, IL. He loved golf, bowling, the Chicago Bears and IU Basketball.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Goering; daughter, Diane (& Jon) Cody; son, Keith (& Carol) Goering' and grandchild, Dylan Goering.
Services will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, September 22, 2008 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, in Indianapolis with Dr. Kent Millard officiating. Friends may call Monday, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM prior to the service.
