Raymond L. Faust of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away at his home on May 10, 2026. He was 75.
Ray was born on December 19, 1950, to R. Perry Faust and Rosemary B. Faust. He graduated from Noblesville High School in 1969 and from Indiana University in 1973. He went on to earn his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in 1976 and practiced law until his retirement in 2023.
Throughout his 47-year legal career, Ray tried more than 30 jury trials and represented clients before Indiana trial, appellate, and Supreme Courts, as well as the United States District Courts and Courts of Appeals. In 2008, he served as amicus counsel before the United States Supreme Court.
Ray was an avid supporter of the Hamilton County Sertoma Club and the Indianapolis Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic. A person of deep faith, he was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church in Noblesville, where he served as an elder and a deacon.
