Ralph L. Murphy, 69, of Westfield, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at his home. He was born on July 5, 1949 to the late Ralph A. and Eleanor C. Murphy in Alabama.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and for over 40 years worked as a civil engineer. He loved to travel and play golf. Ralph also enjoyed horseback riding with his wife and tinkering with his tools in the workshop. He thought fondly of all his pets over the years. Most of all, he loved his grandson, Rhys.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 42 years, Christina "Nina" Murphy; daughters, Alexandria Murphy Oakley (husband, Jason), and Tracye Edwards; brother, Hoyt Murphy (wife, Susan); and grandson, Rhys Edwards.
Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes has been entrusted with Ralph's cremation.
Memorial contributions may be made to Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Voluntary Services (135), 1481 W 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
