Listen to Obituary

Pauline McIntyre, 84, of Fishers, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at her home. She was born on January 25, 1942 to William Drallie and Sally Mae (Bumgardner) Hart in Somerset, Kentucky.

Pauline was a homemaker and wonderful wife, mother, and grandma who took great pride in her home and family. She enjoyed traveling and only missed out on visiting one of the 50 states. Pauline and her husband also traveled to all the provinces of Canada except one. She kept a beautifully decorated home, she loved listening to gospel music while working in her home. She loved flowers and plants, she collected Precious Moments figurines and she made the best spaghetti. To this day, no one can make it like her! Most of all, Pauline loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gale McIntyre of Fishers; daughter, Paula (David) Barber of Fishers; granddaughter, Kayla (Matt) Ferguson of Terre Haute; great-grandsons, Rustin and Beckham Ferguson; and her sisters, Wilene McMullen of Roachdale and Durene Sowers of Crawfordsville.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her brothers, Draillie Hart Jr., Edwin Hart, and Joe Hart.

A private family burial will be at the Roachdale Cemetery in Roachdale, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 2611 Waterfront Pkwy E Dr, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46214; or a breast cancer foundation as Pauline was a breast cancer survivor.
