Paul Edward Askins

Paul Edward Askins, 73, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. He was born on August 13, 1951 to Kenneth and Norma (Crosby) Askins in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Paul received his B.S. degree from Kennesaw State College in 1986. He had a distinguished career spanning 40 years in various senior management roles for major retail chains including Wal Mart, Meijer, Kroger and A & P. Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserve from 1970 - 1976.

Paul was passionate about and derived great pleasure from sharing time with family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, gardening and being on a sunny beach. Paul was an avid sports fan; he was a season ticket holder for the Indianapolis Colts and closely followed his favorite MLB team - the Atlanta Braves.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Bell; son, Nicholas "Cole" Askins; sisters, Lynda (Albert "Doc") Condon and Karen (Mike) Callahan; nieces and nephew, Lindsay Lindsey, Matthew (Amber) Callahan, and Jamie (Brad) Callahan-Droddy and their children.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers.
