Pat also enjoyed an active social and family life. She bore three children, two of whom survive her in death and she had two grandchildren, whom she adored. She enjoyed socializing, learning, reading, trips to casinos with friends, playing bridge, but most of all, she loved to travel. She and Louie traveled the United States extensively when their children were growing up and later on their own. Pat visited every State in The Union. Later in life, she and Louie enjoyed traveling internationally, taking trips to China, Australia, New Zealand, many countries in Europe and to Egypt. Pat's favorite places to travel were Hawaii and the Smokies. Lastly, Pat always enjoyed any good party or any social event, especially when she got to "play hostess."
