Patricia "Patty" Gardner, 89, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on March 3, 1936 to Cedric and Alice (Carey) Foland in Noblesville, Indiana.
Patty was born in Noblesville, Indiana, and graduated from Westfield High School in 1954. She was active in the 4-H Club and, as an efficient typist, worked various secretarial jobs. She also worked at the Westfield High School cafeteria. Patty lived in Westfield until 1985, when Jerry’s job took them to Lawrenceville, GA. They moved back to Westfield and built a home on family property on Little Eagle Creek Avenue. Patty retired in 2000. She was an avid reader and also loved bird watching and playing solitaire. Patty loved Purdue and Westfield sports. She had a sweet tooth and loved M&Ms and Hershey bars. She also enjoyed time with her family and was very active in the church and her faith.
Patty is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Mark) Pickett and Kerri (Steve) Brown; son, Gary (Gretchen) Gardner; grandchildren, Whitney (Ryan) Robinette, Ian (Amanda) Pickett, Madison (Michelle) Pickett, Ashley (Andrew) Wozniewski, Kelsey Brown (Lee Hummel), Lindsey (Sam) Sobus, Evan Gardner, Rudi Willock, Abi Willock, and Macey Davis; great-grandchildren, Carter Pickett, Jackson Wozniewski, Austin Wozniewski, Hudson Hummel, Chandler Sobus, Teddy Gardner, Valerie Gardner, Blake Thompson, and LaMar Wilford; sisters, Dottie Case and Linda Deering; brothers, Steve Foland and Kenny Foland; and her sister-in-law, Becky Mikesell.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Keith Gardner; great-granddaughter, Emma Wozniewski; and her sister, Sandy Denton.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield.
