Oma Joan Turner

Oma Joan Turner, 88, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at her home. She was born on July 25, 1937 to John and Effie (Brewster) Davis in Arkansas.

Oma moved with her family from Arkansas to Noblesville in 1950, and her dad worked at Valley Farm. Oma worked for Delco in Kokomo, Indiana Bell, and Western Electric. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Coatesville and her church was a big part of her life. Oma loved to cook and enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, watching game shows, and visiting yard sales and flea markets.

She is survived by her son, John (Judy) Turner; brother, Doug (Mona) Anderson; sister, Jeane Wilson; 5 step-grandchildren; and 6 step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Oma was preceded in death by her husband, Tolly R. Turner in 2003; and her sister, Mary (Leonard) Wilmot.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Pastor Wayne Dafoe will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
