Nyla Patterson

Nyla J. (Grimes) Patterson, 70, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born February 23, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Alfred P. and Miriam J. (Newby) Grimes.
Nyla was a homemaker and was a member of Redeeming Love Christian Center, in Noblesville.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Patterson, son, Rick (& Tina) Patterson, & daughter, Candiss Campbell, all of Noblesville; brothers, Kenneth (& Caroline) Harris, Jerry (& Sharon) Grimes, & Alfred Grimes Jr.; grandchildren, Jamie, Jessica, Brittany, Steven (& Monica) & Carmen Patterson, Anthony Lacharite; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and several honorary grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Nyla was preceded in death by son, Michael Lee Patterson; son-in-law, Rick Campbell; and sister, Betty Coy.
Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Redeeming Love Christian Center, with Pastor Larry Horn, officiating. Friends may call Thursday, October 9 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM  at the church, prior to the service.
