Norma Jean Hammond

Norma Jean Hammond, 92, of Arcadia, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home.  She was born on February 17, 1929 to Millard and Sylvia (Baxter) Butcher in Bloomington, Indiana.

Norma was a member of Green Valley Church of Christ.  She enjoyed traveling, cruises, cooking, and ballroom dancing.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Patsy) Hammond, Carol (Gene) Schnyder, and Julia (Jim) Miller; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Dick" Stewart Hammond; daughter, Kathy Crites; and her sisters, May Owens and Doris Adams.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a brief service at 12:30 pm, on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
