Michael Alan Mayberry

Michael Alan Mayberry, 72, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Riverview Health. He was born on May 14, 1953, in rural Missouri, to the late Walter and Marie (Arnold) Mayberry.

Michael worked for many years as an insurance professional, where his easygoing nature made him well liked by clients and colleagues. A lifelong Purdue fan, he rarely missed a chance to cheer on the Boilermakers where he could rattle off stats and wasn’t shy about letting the refs and fans know what team he was cheering for – even if it was from his living room.

His greatest joy, however, came from being “Grandpa.” Michael lit up around his grandchildren, Hudson and Grace, and was especially proud to be in the stands at Hudson’s baseball and football games. Whether playing, cheering, or simply spending time with them, they were the highlight of his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren (Kraig) Gallagher; son, Zach Mayberry; siblings, Ron (Denise) Mayberry, Brenda Romine, and Terry (Sharon) Mayberry; and his grandchildren, Hudson and Grace Gallagher.

Private family services will be held. Randall & Roberts Funeral Home has been entrusted with Michael’s care.
