Maxine Ella Reddick

Maxine Ella Reddick, 94, of Noblesville, passed into eternity and graduated to Heaven on Monday, April 8, 2024 with her loving daughters and grandchildren at her bedside.

Maxine was born at home on January 16, 1930 to Paul Dotsy and Cecil Alice (Gibbons) Rogers alongside her twin sister and lifelong best friend, Madeline.  They pulled out 2 dresser drawers and put one in each to use as cribs.  Maxine and her twin were middle children, having 4 born before them (one being stillborn), and 2 sisters after them.  Before they were born, her parents had a set of twins (Paul & Pauline) so there were 2 sets of twins in succession.

Maxine grew up in and attended Noblesville Schools.

Maxine was all about her 5 daughters.  She was extremely proud of them.  Maxine's sole purpose in life was her 5 girls.

Maxine raised her children until the youngest, Tina, started second grade.  She then finally started working (through encouragement from a friend) and Riverview Hospital in Noblesville as the "best" CNA ever.  Maxine loved the camaraderie and friendships that working outside the home afforded her.  She worked from the age of 40 to 76 years old when she reluctantly retired.

Maxine didn't really have any "hobbies", just taking tare of her children was her main focus, then the grandkids.  She did love her dogs, most recent one, Boston Terrier "Bugsy" and then "Little Oso".

Maxine did have 3 indulgences she allowed herself.  1. Love of coffee, always sipping on a cup.  2. Soap Operas, only time she got to sit down and relax.  3. RED LIPSTICK!

Maxine's grandchildren were always there staying all night or one would be babysitting while some of us worked - AND THIS IS WHILE SHE WORKED NIGHT SHIFT AT RVH.

Maxine spent the last 5 years of her life in the Memory Care unit at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville.  She received very loving, consistent, attentive care there.  They were all wonderful but one special "shout out" to Belen Mallaber for going above and beyond for Maxine, extra special care and love to all her residents.  She is one-of-a-kind.

The family would like to thank Anew Hospice for their care of Maxine.

Maxine will be forever sadly, but lovingly, missed by her daughters, Pamela Brandenburg, Karen (Eddie) Doty, Lisa (James) Everitt, Teresa (Bob) Waugh, and Tina (Gary) Owens; twin sister, Madeline Statzer; grandchildren, Jason Sherrill, Angie and Derek Owens, Natalie Spitler, Kelli Waugh, Eric Waugh, Nicole Green, and Nathan Everitt; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, but also special nephew, Jon Statzer.

In addition to her parents, Paul & Cecil Rogers, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Reddick; grandchildren, Jill & Kevin Doty; Sister, Ester Maxine (died at birth), Virginia Luevano, Pauline Kelley, Patty Tyner, and Janet Wood; and her brother, Paul Rogers

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm, on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville.  Private burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
