Ann graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1966, and earned an associate's degree in 1983 and bachelor's degree in 1989 from Purdue. For 18 years, she worked as a computer systems analyst for USA Group which was bought by Sallie Mae, and retired in 2000. She enjoyed most her time with the family and her hobbies were machine embroidery and reading. Ann and her husband, Bill, spent 10 years traveling North America in their motor home. They were able to see a lot of Canada and Mexico this way, along with 49 states. Without the motor home, they traveled to the 50th state and 14 foreign countries. Ann and Bill loved their summer trips in the motor home with grandchildren, Bailey, Anushree and Arnav.
Ann is survived by her husband of 57 years, William J. Chalmers; son, Aaron (Monique) Chalmers; daughter, Stephanie Cronin; grandchildren, Bailey Cronin, Amber Esteves, Dr. Anushree Dighe, Arnav Dighe, and Adryan Martinez; and great-granddaughter, A'briela Martinez. She is also survived by her beloved niece, Marcia Peterson, who walked this long battle with her, making the journey a bit easier. Also surviving are her sisters, Marjorie (Bob) Effner and Nancy Morgan; sister-in-law, Debbie Morgan; 5 nephews; and 1 niece.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, J. Raymond (Sandy) Morgan and Richard W. Morgan; her beloved daughter, Lisa Marie Chalmers; and her beloved daughter-in-law, Katrina Renee Granger-Chalmers.
