Mary C. Hellriegel

Mary C. Hellriegel, 85, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.  She was born on July 14, 1938 to Ernest and Gladys (Roach) Castro in Pensacola, Florida.

Mary was a preschool instructor at KinderCare and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.  She was a great mother and grandmother who was fiercely protective of her family.  Mary had a huge influence on the lives of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John A. Hellriegel Sr.; children, Lisa (Bill) and John Jr. (Julie); and her grandchildren, Kylie, Zach, Shane and Tessa.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her 8 siblings.

Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
