Mary Frances Holloway George, 82, of Cicero, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at home. She was born on December 7, 1929 to Daniel and Kathryn (McCauley) Williams in Joliet, Illinois.
Mary was a homemaker and a very active member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, where she was involved in the Altar Rosary Society. She was also involved with the Monte Ray Home Ec Club and enjoyed playing Bridge, bowling & golfing, and was involved with the Foxie Ladies League. She was also a volunteer for the Visiting Nurses Association and the Baby Wellness Clinic.
She is survived by her children, John Fredrick (Cindy) Holloway, Jr. of Medford, OR, David Joseph (Tina) Holloway of Noblesville, Kathryn M. (Karleen) Holloway of Beaverton, OR, Carol A. (Scott) Hamer of Indianapolis, IN, & Bill R. Holloway of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and Robert George.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Frederick Holloway, Sr. in 1995; and one brother and one sister.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Tom Metzger officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
