Marvin Bruce Risden

Marvin Bruce Risden, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at his home.  He was born on November 24, 1935 to James and Virginia (Shepard) Risden in Lee County, Virginia.

Bruce graduated from Saint Charles High School in Saint Charles, Virginia and he proudly served in the United States Air Force. Bruce worked at ARA Food Service as a repair technician before his retirement. He attended New Light Christian Center where he enjoyed singing with the congregation. Bruce liked to play guitar and piano and listen to Christian music. 

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Arbadella Risden; son, Michael (Nellie) Risden; grandchildren, Michelle (Frank) Chuta, Chris Collins, Troy (Jennifer) Risden, Michael (Tonya) Risden; great-grandchildren, Anthony (Reagan) Manghelli, Emilio Chuta, Alex Mastin, Peyton Risden, Aden Risden, Mason Risden, Jonathon Risden, and Joshua Risden; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Risden, brother, Bradley Risden, and brother, Raymond Risden.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Alfred Parks and Pastor Michael W. Risden officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial with military honors will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
