Martha Wallen

Martha P. "Marty" (Plummer) Wallen, 79, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born March 6, 1929 in Danville, Kentucky to Myrtle (McElroy) and Edgar Plummer.
She loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Ed Tharp; son, Lewis Tharp; son, Ernie Tharp; son, Roger Tharp; son, Tom Tharp; daughter, Margaret Goodwin; brother, Edgar Plummer, stepdaughters; Darlene & Susie Wallen; 22 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bill" Wallen; son, Steven Ginder; stepson, Bobby Ginder; 2 bros. Bill Minnix and James Minnix; and sister Kathryn Wilson.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Richard D. Bell officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, May 28, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chester Friends Cemetery.
