Martha Leora "Marti" (Schoolcraft) Height

Martha Leora (Schoolcraft) Height, Noblesville, age 62, went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2026. She was born in Noblesville, IN to Martha (Haygood) and Louis Schoolcraft Jr.

Marti, as she was known to those who love her, was a mother, a Gammie, a wife, an aunt, a sister, a mail carrier, and a friend. For the past 27 years, Marti found joy and immense pride working as a Rural Route Mail Carrier for the Carmel Post Office. She had such a passion for her customers, her coworkers, and the mail process. Marti delivered mail to 584 boxes daily and even with that large number, you could give her a customer name and she would immediately tell you the customers address and how long they had lived at the residence.

Always a jokester, Marti loved to make people laugh. She had the biggest heart and a kind spirit. She was a lover of the warm sun, a crisp morning, an upbeat song, and a good prank. Marti loved to do random acts of kindness and many times those were carried out anonymously. She enjoyed making those she loved feel valued and took pride in making them laugh. Her grandchildren were her ultimate pride and joy. “Love is how you stay alive, even after you are gone.” -Mitch Albom

Marti will always be loved by her grandchildren, Madison, Brayden, and Paisley Cook, Jacob Dawson II, and Shia Mendoza; her children, Natosha (Brad) Cook, Jacob Dawson, Destiny Height (Christopher Mendoza); as well as her husband, Mike Height.

To honor Marti’s request, there will be no public service.

In lieu of sending flowers to the family, please consider making a donation towards a memorial bench in honor of Marti or perform a random act of kindness in her honor. Donations for the memorial bench can be made at (https://gofund.me/3b5be99ec).
