Marjorie Cross

Marjorie L. Cross , 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel.  She was born on July 5, 1932 to Walter and Bertha (Sneed) Clevenger in New Castle, Indiana.

Marjorie was a kind woman, loyal friend, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very optimistic with a positive attitude. Marjorie was full of energy, always active, and never gave up. She graduated from New Castle High School and took some college classes. Marjorie worked for the State of Indiana Welfare Department before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, shopping for unusual things, cleaning, reading, painting pictures, and refinishing furniture. But most of all Marjorie loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Wayne) Moore, Pam (Barry) Young, Lisa (Tim) Cranston; grandchildren, Amber (Aaron) Williams, Aaron (Adriann) Young, Adam Moore, Jonathon (Amanda) Moore, Scott Cranston, Brandon Cranston; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Cross; and siblings, Helen Canfield, Bud Clevenger, and Edward Clevenger.

A memorial visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.
