Margaret "Peggy" Smith, 65, of Greenfield, formerly of Valparaiso, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Sugar Creek Nursing in Greenfield. She was born on December 16, 1949 to the late Florian and Garnet (Leech) Gutowski in Gary, Indiana.
Peggy attended Purdue University and was a bank teller for Gary National Bank several years ago. She was a former member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Hobart, and enjoyed bingo, shopping, movies, and her family, especially her nieces & nephews.
Peggy is survived by her sisters, Mary (Craig) Henderson, and Jane (James) Snyder; brother, Dennis (Laurie) Gutowski; and several nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Peggy's care has been entrusted to Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary.
