Loretta Sue Kitchens

Loretta Sue Kitchens, age 85, of Noblesville, passed away on the 3^rd of May, 2022. She was born on October 31, 1936 to the late Bulas and Eunice (Long) Swanner of Arkansas.

As a single mother Loretta was an example of strength, perseverance and unconditional love.  She was a thoughtful, generous person who found joy in family and friends.  For years she played cards weekly with her dear friends which filled the house with laughter and snacks.

She kept her mind alert with books and by never missing Jeopardy.

She retired in 2003, after 21 years, from GTE/Verizon in Westfield, Indiana.  Loretta was a loyal hardworking employee.  She made life-long friends everywhere she worked.    She retired to spend more time with her children and grandchildren.  She loved traveling and visiting them.

Loretta is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kitchens (Andreas); son, Wayne Kitchens (Lisa); grandchildren, Lukas, Regan and Lily; sister, Karen Bunch; niece, Donna Bunch; and her nephew, Mark Bunch.

No services will be held in Noblesville.  Her family will be honoring her life by planting trees where they each live.  Friends can honor her by donating plants or trees to local parks or by making a memorial contribution to:
