Linda Ann Illyes

Linda Ann Illyes, 72, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.  She was born on January 21, 1949 to Wilbur and Inez (Guffey) Veach in New Castle, Indiana.

Linda was a graduate of Purdue University, where she met the love of her life, Andy. Andy and Linda enjoyed traveling and raising their children together for 42 years, before his death in 2014. Besides being a wonderful mother and grandmother, Linda was a beloved teacher for many years and avid Butler and Purdue basketball fan.

She is survived by her children, Heidi (David) Hartman, Abby (Kris) Nielsen, and Tim (Kim) Illyes; brother, Steve (Ginger) Veach; grandchildren, Henry, Madeline, Rose, Andrew, and Emily, step grandchildren, Roger, Dakota, Samantha, and Alexander.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
