Linda Jean (Weyls) Hunt, 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Ascension / St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Lafayette, IN on September 21, 1945 to Loyd and Doris (Landis) Weyls.
Linda was a commercial floor covering manager for most of her professional career, which included extended stints in Las Vegas and Chicago. Prior to her retirement she became the Chicago Floor Covering Association President and 2017 Person of the Year. She was very proud of this accomplishment.
Linda was also proud to say that she lived life her way and on her own terms with no regrets. She had a very interesting and memorable journey on this earth. She loved animals of all kinds and always had dogs, wild animals in her yard and cats of all kinds, including for 17 years, Dot, her retirement baby. Linda also enjoyed beading, making jewelry and shopping for entertainment. At Christmas she was the best gift giver and her beautiful wrapping of gifts was enjoyed by her whole family.
She is survived by her brother, David (Lucy) Weyls; niece, Alexis (Alex) Linn; nephew, Zachary Weyls; great nephews & great niece, William and Eli Linn plus Logan, Lukas and Brooklyn Weyls. Linda loved them all dearly.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
There is no public service planned at this time. A celebration of Linda's life will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
