LeRoy Collar

LeRoy M. Collar went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 25, 2009.
Born October 20, 1925 in Dennison, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lemoin and Dorabelle (Cox) Collar. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie Collar, who died June 25, 2001; two sisters, Florance Yost and Mary Harrig and one brother, Raymond Collar.
Lee was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church of God, in Noblesville and had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Lee had been a farmer and had also managed mini warehouses in Indianapolis.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-great grandfather, he will be sadly missed by daughter Carol (Joe) Collar; sons Charles Hupp and Jerry (Lynn) Hupp; his 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and a brother, John Collar.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville, with Pastor Kenneth Lee officiating. Friends may call Tuesday, May 26, 5:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
