Officer Kenneth Anderson, aged 64, a beloved and dedicated public servant, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, surrounded by loving family and friends at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on July 20, 1959, in Noblesville, Indiana, and leaves behind a legacy of unwavering service and love.

Kenneth's life was a testament to his commitment to service. He dedicated 19 years of his life to the Indiana State Police, serving with a specialized division and distinguishing himself as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) specialist. His 20-year career in the United States Air Force culminated with the rank of Master Sergeant, earning numerous awards and honors. Kenneth's diverse roles included K9 training and various assignments with Security Forces, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his duty.

Beyond his impressive professional accomplishments, Kenneth was a multifaceted individual who embraced life's adventures. He was a true outdoorsman, finding solace in the wild and demonstrating a knack for survival in the wilderness. His love for travel took him to distant corners of the world, and he had a special fondness for camping in the mountains, where he felt connected to nature. Kenneth was also a music enthusiast, with a passion for mastering the bagpipes.

Kenneth's role as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and friend brought him the most joy. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jootharat Anderson, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His daughter, Katherine (Richard) Anderson, and grandson, Riley Sindel Anderson, brought immeasurable happiness to his life. Kenneth's mother, Norma Anderson, sister, Kay (Cheryl) Hodson, sister-in-law, Robin Anderson, and nieces and nephews, Brandon Anderson, Jessica Anderson, Matt (Stephanie) Hodson, and Becky (Lance) Larsen, all held special places in his heart.

Yet, it was Kenneth's heartwarming personality that endeared him to all. He possessed a unique ability to ignite laughter, with an infectious sense of humor that could brighten any room. Joy radiated from him, illuminated by his calm, gentle, and fun-loving approach to life.

Officer Kenneth Anderson's legacy of service, love for the outdoors, infectious humor, and boundless love for his family and friends will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift us, reminding us to find joy in the simplest of moments and to cherish the bonds we share with one another.

To celebrate Kenneth's life, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  An additional hour of visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a procession and funeral services starting at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the funeral home. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
